- Piled home extension foundation, Offerton
- Structural engineers calculations provided
- Completed in three working days
- Fully insured, qualified, experienced workforce
Our client contacted us regarding some foundation works for their new single storey home extension to the rear of their property. First of all, we arranged to visit site to discuss the potential works with the client. We agreed that a piled home extension foundation would best suit this project and confirmed a price with the client. We were able to book the works in to start the following week.
Firstly, we began by excavating the ground for the new extensions foundations. After, we installed our piling scheme according to our structural engineers calculations. This included piles, beams and tree barrier for the piled home extension foundation. Once installed, we contacted the local building inspector and arranged for him to visit site and assess our works. He was pleased and as a result passed the works, allowing us to concrete that same afternoon.
Overall, it took a total of three working days to complete the piling in Offerton, including all excavating, piling and concreting works. Once set the client will be able to start building their new home extension. On completion of our works, we provided our client with copies of the structural engineers calculations (design) and our piling log detailing the depths of each pile.
In conclusion, our client was pleased with our piling service and were looking forward to the building work starting on their new home extension.
