Our client contacted us regarding some foundation works for their new single storey home extension to the rear of their property. First of all, we arranged to visit site to discuss the works with the client. We agreed a piled foundation would best suit this home extension and confirmed a price. We were able to start the works the following week.
Firstly, we began by digging the footings for the home extension and installed our piling scheme, as per our structural engineers calculations (design for the works). This included piles, beams and polystyrene tree barrier as requested by the local building inspector. Once installed, we contacted the local building inspector and arranged for him to visit site and assess the works. He was pleased with our works and as a result passed it. We were able to begin concreting that same afternoon.
Overall, it took a total of three working days to complete the piling foundations in Failsworth including all excavating, piling and concreting. Once set, the client will be able to begin the building works on their new home extension.
In conclusion, our clients were pleased with the high standards and efficiency of our works, and were looking forward to the building work starting on their new home extension.
