Our client contacted us regarding some foundation works for their new build family home. First of all, we arranged to visit site to discuss the works with the client. We agreed that a piling scheme would best suit this project and agreed a price for the works. As a result, we were able to begin the agreed works the following week.
We began by excavating the footings of the new build home. We installed our piling scheme according to our structural engineers design. It included steel cased top driven piles and beams. Once completed, we arranged for the local building inspector to visit site and assess the works. He was happy and passed the works, allowing us to concrete that same afternoon.
Overall, it took a total of six working days to complete the piling foundations in Holcombe Brook, including all excavation, piling and concreting works. On completion, we provided our client with copies of the structural engineers design (calculations) and our piling log detailing the depths of each pile. We also provided our insurance/warranty information.
In conclusion, our client was pleased with the high standards and efficiency of our works. They were looking forward to the building work starting on their new family home.
