Our client contacted us regarding the foundations for a single storey home extension to the rear of their home. First of all, we arranged to visit site and discuss the works with the client. We agreed a piled foundation scheme would best suit this home extension. After agreeing a price, we were able to start the works the following week.
Firstly, we dug the footings for the new home extension. We installed our piling scheme to our structural engineers design. This included the installation of piles and beams. Once installed, we arranged for the local building inspector to visit site and assess the works. He was pleased and passed the works, resulting in us being able to concrete that same afternoon.
Overall, it took a total of four working days to complete all of the piled foundations in Bolton, including excavation, piling and concreting. We provided our client with copies of the structural engineers design (calculations) and our piling log detailing the depths of each pile.
In conclusion, our clients were pleased with the high standards and efficiency of our works. They were looking forward to the start of their new home extension.
