Our client contacted us enquiring about some foundation work for their new double garage at their home. First of all, we arranged to visit site and discuss the works with the client and confirmed a price. We were able to begin work the very next day. We agreed that piling foundations would best suit this project.
Firstly, we began by excavating the ground for the foundation footings and installed our piling scheme as per our structural engineers calculations (design). Our scheme included steel cased top driven piles and beams. Once fully installed, we arranged for the local building inspector to visit site in order to carry out a final inspection of our works before concreting. As a result, he passed the works, and we were able to concrete that same afternoon.
Overall, it took a total of three working days to complete the piling foundations for a garage, including excavating, installing our piling foundations and concreting. We provided our client with copies of the structural engineers calculations (design) and our piling log detailing the depths of each pile.
Overall, our clients were pleased with the high standard and efficiency of our work. They were looking forward to the building work starting on their new garage.
