Our client contacted us regarding some foundation work for a new single storey extension to the rear of their home. First of all, we arranged to visit site and discuss the works with the client and agree a price. We agreed a piling foundations would best suit this project and were able to start the works the following week.
Firstly, we began by excavating for the trenches for the new extension. We installed our piling scheme according to our structural engineers calculations (design for the works). Once completed, we contacted the local building inspector and arranged for him to visit site and assess our work. He was pleased with our piling scheme and passed the works, resulting in us being able to concrete that same afternoon.
Overall, it took a total of three working days to complete the piling in Bolton, including all excavating, piling and concreting works. On completion, we provided our client with copies of the structural engineers calculations (the design) and our piling log detailing the depths of each pile. We also provided our insurance and warranty information.
In conclusion, our client was pleased with the high standard and efficiency of our piling works. They were looking forward to building their new family home extension.
