Our clients contacted us regarding some foundation work for their new single storey extension to the rear of their property. First of all, we arranged to visit site to assess and discuss the works with the client. We agreed a piling scheme would best suit this project and confirmed a price. We were able to begin the works the following day.
Firstly, we began by digging the footings for the new extension foundations. From our structural engineers calculations, we installed our piling scheme, which included piles and beams. Once installed, we arranged for the local building inspector to visit site and assess the works. He was pleased with the works carried out and as a result, passed them, allowing us to concrete the same afternoon.
Overall, it took a total of three working days to complete the piling foundations in Salford, including all excavation, piling and concreting works. Once set, the clients builder will be able to start the build of the new extension.
We provided our client with copies of the structural engineers calculations (design for the works) and our piling log detailing the depths of each pile.
In conclusion, our clients were pleased with the high standards and efficiency of our works. They were looking forward to the work starting on their new home extension.
