Piling in Sapling Road, Swinton

Basetec Piling was recently commissioned to install piling for a part single, part double-storey extension on Sapling Road in Swinton.

The Piling Project

Working alongside Dynamic Design & Build, our team completed the piling in just 2.5 days on-site. We maintained close collaboration with the client and project partners throughout to ensure everything was completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Following an initial site survey and a free quote, we identified the most suitable piling solution based on the site’s ground conditions. We worked in partnership with MDA Design (architects), JC Structural (structural engineering calculations), Huws Gray (machine hire), and JRN Concrete (concrete supply) to successfully deliver the project.

How We Did It

We began by marking out the excavation area where the piles would be installed. After identifying the key points, we carried out a reduced-level dig to create a level base for the piling process, ensuring the foundation’s strength and stability.

Multiple steel piles were then installed, followed by the placement of steel ring beams to tie the foundation together and prepare it for the concrete pour.

JRN Concrete completed the final phase, pouring and levelling the concrete to complete the foundation. The project was finished on time, within 2.5 days, and to the satisfaction of the client.
